Greenwich Village Skyloft
Compact Living, Expanded
In the heart of Greenwich Village, this 450 SF apartment was reimagined as a calm and highly adaptable living environment within the density of Manhattan living. Through a series of integrated built-in elements, movable components, and carefully considered spatial interventions, the renovation transforms a compact footprint into a flexible home that feels generous, light-filled, and restorative.

Custom storage solutions, layered millwork, and multifunctional architectural elements maximize every inch of the apartment while maintaining a quiet visual clarity. A lofted sleeping area expands the usable living space and allows the main level to remain open, fluid, and connected to daylight.

Built Around Light
The project focuses on smart spatial planning rather than excess, creating an atmosphere of ease through natural materials, warm wood tones, soft light, and restrained detailing. Sliding and movable elements allow the apartment to shift throughout the day, supporting different modes of living, working, gathering, and retreat.
Designed as an urban sanctuary, the apartment balances minimalism with warmth, bringing a sense of calm, tactility, and rejuvenation into the middle of the city.
The bathroom was expanded vertically to enhance the sense of openness and light within the compact footprint, creating a calm, almost spa like atmosphere through both proportion and materiality.
Tactile limestone surfaces and warm natural finishes bring softness and depth to the interior, while light and restrained detailing create an atmosphere that feels quiet, grounded, and restorative within the density of city living.
